Just received the ESCs I ordered for the Land Cruiser, 2 x Hobbywing 1060 ESCs, one for drive and one for servo winch, exactly what I have on my other Land Cruiser. I find the 1060 is more than enough for this kind of car and it caters very well to my needs.

First things first. Two simply brackets to mount the ESCs on. The reason why the ESCs get their own brackets is because the originally designated space for the ESC will be used up by the servo winch.

Remove the side body mount to work easier and then remove the screws holding the transfer case mounting plate to the chassis.

Replaced the screws for stainless steel longer ones to make up for the thickness of the new bracket.

With the supplied double sided tape I placed the ESCs in their place.

Also received some servo horns. Fitted a new one in place while I was working on it

Still not sure which servo winch I will be using, but until then I will start wiring the ESC, motor and lighting.

More to come..
