So a couple of days ago I ordered the full interior for the LC70. I'm hoping that by the time it gets here I will have the battery removed from the stock plate and the box I am making for it in the rear will come out nice and practical.

So I started cutting up some styrene.

and came up with this simple solution

I wanted it big enough to host my largest lipos. Will drill a hole in the bottom of the bed to allow the wires coming from the ESC into the battery box.

This is the finished size of the box in place.

and here you have it. The finished product held together by masking tape. I will paint it after it has been glued together and then will fix it in place. 

Next post update will be the box, painted and ready to be used
