Relocating the ESC to the front..

Following the relocation of the battery to the rear of the body, it is now time to relocate the ESC. 

The only place left is under the bonnet, just like everyone else. Lucky for me, my Hobbywing 1080 fits like a glove without any additional hardware,

I could have chosen the place the ESC on the left and the switch on the right and it would have made no difference. At the time, I thought this was the way to go. 

Needless to say, I had to lengthen the ESC to receiver ribbon cable and the main power supply lead from the battery to the ESC, and also shorten the run between the ESC and the motor. While doing all this, I prepared the wiring for the reverse lights. 

Then I realised that I need to upgrade for the bonnet to open, to gain access to that switch!!
