| Finally found a solution without having to cut up the interior. The trick was a simple body lift   As you can see I added some washers to act as spacers between the front body mount and the body itself.    I used the same idea at the rear between the body mounting hinge and the body itself, on all 4 mounting screws.   The only snag is that if you have the front skid plate, one can tell there is a larger gap than there would normally be without the washers. In my opinion, the gap is rather small and a very small price to pay for this to work.   Here is the finished product. The few millimetre body lift is insignificant as for looks, but 100% worth the effort.   Even the doors work now  Video to follow soon.. |
