Finally received the TF2 chassis from my eBay purchase.

This is not an RC4WD chassis, but was worth the price. I have a set of brand new front an rear Yota 2 axles and quite a few new sets of leaf springs in my parts bin that can contribute towards this build.

So, the first obvious thing I did, just like anyone else, was to see if it fits under that body. Pass

I will be removing the front most cross member, or what some would call the front bumper mount, as I will be leaving the stock front bumper in its full glory on for now.

Here it a side view of the front wheel arch showing the front part of the chassis without the front cross member.

The only thing I never liked about the TF2 is that anchor point, the transfer case plate. Way too low!! 

And there you can see the rear wheel arch . 

I think it fits well. It is an exact fit (except for the front cross member.

Now I will need to source a few parts to mount the front an rear leaf springs, as this chassis came with the front shock mounts installed. I removed them before taking these images.
