Later on in the afternoon, I removed the set of Yota 2 axles from a static car I have in the garage, opened 2 new packets of leaf springs and started mounting them on the chassis. These tres and wheels are for testing purpose only.

First go I only used one leaf on each wheel. It was too soft especially when I will eventually add the weight of the ESC, remote light switch, lights, receiver and lipo.

So I added all 4 leafs and WOW - look how high the ride is .. Not exactly the look I am looking for but...... we shall see..

The rear roof made no difference on the ride height..

I think I need to start on the body mounts before I consider ride height. Need to know where the body will sit and hopefully stay there. Then would be a good time to talk ride height
