After a long wait, the garage forklift has finally arrived and in one piece   I was not sure about the actual size. I went by pictures acquired from friends on the net and compared the forklift to its surroundings. First thing I did after unboxing it is to see if Ruff fits. If he fits then the forklift will fit perfect in the garage. Ah, fits like a glove. The lazy bugger looks like he's driven the darn thing before

Some pictures from different angles.

The project is to convert this from the toy-grade that it is, to a hobby-grade forklift. I plan to drive it inside the scale garage loading and unload items in different areas in the garage. The main problem that I have seen in all the videos I saw, was that the drive is either on or off. No control at all. Anything on the forklift will simply fall off. Trying to accurately place a pallet on a shell in a realistic way is impossible. So, out with the electronic and in with some better parts, but not for now. I'm in the middle of a project at home and would like to dedicate my thoughts on how to do this 100%  I want to get this right the first time

For those interested, this is the link to where I bought the forklift from

So, until then, leave me your comment, please..
