And again today made some more progress. I repeat, this is my first scratch build body, not sure if I am doing it right but I'm have a ton of fun

Today I glued the toolbox and the engine bay cover. I also made a spare wheel mount and mounted the wheels in place. Its just a 4mm threaded rod with spacers and washers to keep it all in place.

This is the rear view where you can see the toolbox and engine bay cover more clearly. I'm not after the perfect clean cut body, so I am sanding down the sharp edges and rounding them off. You will see imperfections which I will try to pass as wear and tear

The tool box will be the main storage for all the electronics, including my 6400mah lips. All fits well as you can see. If there's one thing I might never be able to say is that I have no space to put more stuff on it!!!!

Then, as the evening drew to an end, I tried a quick test for the wheel arches. Here I am using scrap pieces of PVC. These will be eventually made from the same material as the rest of the body.

And last but not least, here we have the body as it now is, mounted onto the chassis, just for a sneak preview of what's to come

Very productive day. Its going slow, but what's the rush, right?
