Worked on the flat bed yesterday. Glued some wood together to form the rear part of the truck.
The flat bed is 27.5cm wide and 60cm long.
Today I started gluing the body panels together.
Was easier that I ever imagined. The trick is to get the panel into position before the glue sets, and this glue sets pretty quick.
I decided not to glue the "tool box" at all. It is held onto the "engine compartment" and the body base with 7 screws and nuts. This way should I need to work on electronics, I can take the "tool box" apart from the rest of the body and work easily.
End result so far. Still have to glue the windshield panel and sleeper. Have to do something with the interior of the cab and still no idea how I am going to keep the roof in place. Thoughts for those sleepless nights I guess!!
