CAUTION: Curved track underlay gluing in progress

After allowing the glue used for the straight cork underlay to dry, I started out cutting the length of cork needed for the curves. From various replies on social media, I was told that cutting the cork underlay down the length will make it easier. Sometimes, the obvious is there to see but, we don't see it. Bending a 2cm cork underlay around a curve is twice as easy as bending a 4cm cork underlay..

Here is the result. Naturally, I had to do it twice, once for the inner piece, and then again for the outer piece, but it was so easy to do. Once you master it, the other curves were a lot easier   I started with a 180 degree curve, the rest should be a walk in the park haha

but you never have enough pins

Every few minutes I press down hard between the pins, to help the glue to stick to both surfaces.

More soon
