Quick post about the new upper-level module...

So I started with positioning and glueing the turnouts and adding some weights. Whatever came to hands did the job  

and continued to install 4 complete lengths of flexitrack with their correct spacing.

That done, I installed the servo point motors and gave them a bit of a test to make sure the throw was reaching the other side of the track and that the micro switches that controlled the frog polarity were working as they should. Here's a little video. I'm using a servo tested powered by an 8v battery from one of my RCs.

That completed, I wired it all up as neatly as I could, to avoid any wires hanging on the level below this module.

The end product. Very happy with it  

Now here is the test I run on the completed module... I see I need to tweak some of the joints between the points and the flexitrack. I think I will be sanding the surface of the cork in the future, for a better and smoother surface
