Adding cork underlay at my first point... Adding cork underlay right under, before and/or after a point is not the same as under straight track. You have to consider the point lever as well as the 3 wires. We shall see. I have a feeling this point, being my first one, is going to be very troublesome, good thing it's is close enough to reach from the command console
