Dapol GBRf Class 66 gets worked on.

After covering many kilometres during its runs, it was time to focus on maintaining the Class 66. I acquired this model from eBay as a used item, and it has consistently performed well without any issues. The only peculiar aspect I noticed was that the previous owner had soldered the pickups to the chassis using two short wires instead of relying on the continuous contact of the brass pickups with the chassis. While I comprehend the reasoning behind this approach, it means that each time I have to clean the wheels and ensure proper pickup contact, I must unsolder the short wires from the chassis. It's a minor inconvenience, but a reasonable trade-off for maintaining consistent contact in the long run.
