The two main loops are finally ready. Everything in place, glued, droppers .... the works.

I decided to stop all work until I have tested and fixed any problems I might have in the tracks. I want to make sure that my trains don't derail before I continue plastering and painting.

Took some pictures after clearing and vacuuming the layout from all the dust and junk that accumulated over the past weeks.

The cliff tunnel...

The return line from the cliff tunnel just before the descent starts... very narrow ledge over the top of the rocks, wanted to give it a different look.

The two lower lines are the northbound and southbound lanes at the station. Above it the other side of the return line from the cliff tunnel.

The bridge between the return line and the recently added downhill (seen in the background) to the lower loop.

The recently added downhill to the lower loop. More homemade inclines but this time curved.

The start of the curved incline.

The top of the curved incline.

The 1.6m bridge.

Now I want to start running some trains and enjoying my work. As I go along, I will take note of problems, fix them and start planning ideas for what I can add.

The space on the right is for the shunting area, but not for now.

Stay tuned and don't forget to register for post updates...
