There is this sharp curve that is not working for the layout. I need to remove the track and redesign it. 
The curve can be seen clearly here on the inner side of the curved point. It is too sharp for most long wagons and coaches to go around. 
So, the first thing I did was remove the track and start redesigning the layout in this section. 
This time the U bend was not going to be as sharp either. It was longer, thus making it possible to make the curve easier on the longer wagons and coaches. 
After so thinking, I came to the conclusion the passenger platform will only have one set of tracks where the train can stop to allow passengers to embark/disembark. 
The inner track will be a dead end and will be used to store coaches and/or cargo wagons. Maybe a postoffice dropoff or something similar. Watch the video here Stay tuned and don't forget to register for post updates... Check out the live CCTV camera HERE |
