An update on what's happening on the layout.

It is taking over 6 weeks to get parts from the UK because of COVID and BREXIT. To add insult to injury, local customs are backlogged and have already held the first of about 10 packages for over 2 weeks to date. When will this end? It may be a long time until I can publish a video of my layout

Yesterday I decided to fix two gaps I had on the layout. They have been the cause of a few derailments, so it was time, and time is all we have right now, thank God 😊

Superglued some styrene in the gap and left it to dry overnight. This morning I made use of my new set of miniature files and this is the result.

I put up an embankment on one side of the incline of the outer and upper loop but not sure about the other side yet. I decided not to do it as it is easier to add one then remove it.

On the inner side of that curved incline you see in the image, covering that hole, will be the small village including the station c/w platform.

The embankment has been painted brown and will eventually be covered in short grass, some bushes and a few trees.

That's it for now ...
