Before taking this RC anywhere, I want to change the driveshafts. These are the stock driveshafts and the previous owner has already filled the plastic hollow insides with a metal bolt, but I want this to be as reliable as the blue BJ40, so out they come!! .

I ordered a set of MIP driveshafts for this RC. MIP do not make a set for the Gelande 2 but as I did for the blue BJ40, I ordered a set of driveshafts for the SCX10 with a 42mm male bone and added a 2nd 42mm male bone to the cart. Not cheap but no regrets.

Added the "obligatory" MIP sticker as I have on all my RCs

Assembled the driveshaft parts.

and here they are installed in place.

WARNING: The output shafts on the transfer case need to be shortened about 2mm. No major surgery. I grind them down with my round sand paper Dremel head.
